These terms cover your use of this website. Separate terms will apply to the Flarelight app when it is released.
Who we are
This site is operated by Flarelight, 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX Contact: hello@flarelight.app
This site is not medical advice
Flarelight is a tool for recording your own symptoms and experiences. Nothing on this website, and nothing in the Flarelight app, is medical advice. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, monitor or prevent any condition, and it does not predict or detect anything about your health.
Always speak to a qualified healthcare professional about your symptoms, your treatment and any decisions about your care. Never delay seeking medical advice, or disregard advice you have been given, because of something you have recorded in Flarelight or read here.
If you are having a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services.
What Flarelight does
Flarelight records what you choose to log — daily check-ins, flares, symptoms, appointments and notes — and displays it back to you in a calendar, in summaries, and in a report you can take to an appointment.
Where the app shows relationships between things you have logged, it is showing you patterns in your own records. It is not making a clinical assessment, identifying causes, or telling you what will happen next. What your records mean is a conversation for you and your healthcare team.
The app is in development
Flarelight is not yet publicly available. Descriptions and images on this site show work in progress. Features, design, pricing and availability may change, and we can't promise any particular feature will appear in the released app or by any particular date.
Our name and branding
"Flarelight" and the Flarelight logo are used by us as unregistered trade marks. We may change the name or branding before launch.
The content of this site — text, images, logos and design — belongs to us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse it without our permission, other than for your own personal, non-commercial reference.
Acceptable use
Don't use this site unlawfully, don't try to gain unauthorised access to it, and don't attempt to disrupt it.
Our responsibility to you
We provide this site as it is. We don't promise it will always be available or error-free.
We don't exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn't allow us to exclude. Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, including in the United States, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections available to you under the law of the country or state where you live, and nothing here takes those away.
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always the one on this page.
